Happy New Year!!

I am looking forward to great New Year, with a new resolve to catch up on unfinished projects and become a better homemaker. I love that there are so many great Blogs out there to help me do it...I'll just have to limit the amount of time I spend searching them:)

I wanted to share with you my latest find!! A Family Journal seen here: Nap Time Journal. It makes keeping a family journal look easy. There is a calendar and a summary for each month along with pages for notes and kids sayings. I am looking forward to try it out this year.

Here's mine..

Assembling the Journal was more work than I anticipated (I like to do things quickly), so next time I'll be looking for a simple notebook that can be modified much Nap Time Journal has done.

I have many more ideas running through my mind, and right now most of them are for Christmas, since we just finished the Holiday Season, I figure if I at least get my ideas down on paper, I won't forget about them. Here are a few:

  • Christmas Nativity Costumes as seen on my sister Lorinda's blog...the idea came from my Sister-in-Law Sherry.

  • Felt Nativity Christmas Countdown: My friend Audra has this, and I love it!
  • I also have an idea of putting together a Family Traditions Book. I'll use a binder with dividers and include each Holiday, plus special occasion and reunions. In each I will include: recipes for favorite foods and treats, traditions we've started, favorite games, things to try or do, etc.

I am always looking for great ideas, so if any of you ever come across some good ones, please send them my way!

I hope everyone has a fabulous New Year!!!
