Preston had his last Speech Therapy today. He's been going for the last 2 years to the Therapist at the elementary school. Preston started going because he was omitting certain sounds from his speech, making it really hard to understand him. When Preston was learning to talk, Spencer couldn't say his hard G's, C's and K's, and Preston learned to say certain words the way Spencer did. He needed someone other than me to help him break that habit. He improved greatly within a few months, and I am finally able to understand most of what he says without having to have him repeat everything, which frustrates both of us. He still struggles with his S's and R's, but that is pretty common for his age. He probably could have stopped going to speech several months ago, but his therapist really loved working with him! She's a lot of fun and both of the boys learned a lot from her and enjoyed going to see her!
