Preston is doing exceptionally well in first grade. Reading, spelling, and math seem to come naturally for him. He is making lots of friends and enjoying himself. On Wednesday the kids are encouraged to run around the playground track. For every lap they do, they get a stamp on their hand. The teacher keeps track of how many laps they have run. Each grade level awards one student for the week who ran the most laps. That student receives a gold foot the next week. For every 20 laps the student completes, they get a blue foot. Preston received a gold foot and a blue foot on the same day. He was very excited and proud of himself!

Way to go Preston!
