I had my 38th birthday this past week! I have a hard time remembering I'm this old, I think I still act like a 20 year old. I'm pretty immature! I love birthdays! This year was no exception, even though I had absolutely nothing planned. I was supposed to work at the flowershop, but Preston ended up sick and didn't go to school. I did not make my traditional Lemon Jello Cake (gasp, I know), because I am the only one who ever eats it and I have recently started doing Weight Watcher again (I've gained back 10 of the 20 pounds I'd lost previously), so I decided to make a cake that most of the family would eat, the extremely delicious Skor Cake...yum, yum!
Shannon and Michael were at their BSU night class together, so me and the boys ate cake together.
Later that night, Spencer brought me a birthday card that he had made all by himself on the computer in Microsoft Office using clip art. That boy is so thoughtful! The best part of my birthday though was when my parents skyped most of the family and announced their next mission call...Tulsa, OK. They leave March 19 and will be gone for 18 months! I love my parents, they are such great examples!
