To scrapbook...or not? That is the question.

Now that I have finished Michael's albums, I am starting on the little boys. Sadly I have not done much of anything with Prestons, but that also means I can start fresh with my new system.
As I was going through his things, I came across his 'Year of First's' calendar. It is rather plain and simple, and I thought it would be fun to do something more creative with it, so this is what I did, and I love it!!


My only hesitation is that it took me awhile, trying to decide what papers to use and all (the calendar itself is a template). Of course if I use this same layout each month, it should be alot quicker, right?
My other option would be to do a simple calendar on which I'll write extra info and then mount on a 12x12 sheet of scrapbook paper.
So...tell me what you think. Should I take the time and scrapbook the calendar, or just print up the simple one and write on it?
