A few months ago I was watching an episode of ScrapbookMemories on BYUTV. They were featuring a srapbooking/photo album system called Share & Tell by Pebbles Inc. The idea behind it is that you can put together a scrapbook/album with "No Time, Some Time, or Creative Time". The discovery of this, led me on a search, where I re-discoverd another system called...
Not only does it make a great school/life album, but it works wonders for our family vacations!
I loved using it for our trip to Yellowstone. At the end of everyday, I jotted down some quick notes of what we did, which made it super easy to journal after I had the pictures developed.
click on the above pictures to go to picasa and see more pages and how I did them!
I know this is a lengthy post, but lately I am all about finding ways to simplify my life, and this definitely fits the bill...so I thought someone else out there might like it as well!
Have you heard of it? I first heard of it a couple of years ago, but the idea of taking a picture everyday and writing about it wasn't really appealing to me. TO MUCH WORK! This year however, I discovered that several ladies who use PL, use it like a scrapbook album. They even have great video's showing exactly how they use it. And since I can't seem to think 'outside the box', I am so grateful to women who can.
Here's a few of the inspiring women:
Since Michael has graduated from high school, I figured it was about time to finish his book. I pulled out his box full of stuff from the past 6 years and normally I would have felt overwhelmed, but not with PL. It only took me about 2 weeks to document his life, granted, if I had been doing it all along it might be a little more detailed, but he's not picky : )

LOVE your albums! SO CUTE! Where do you get your 12x12 6 photo pages?
ReplyDeleteand p.s. do you find that your pictures/journal cards stay in the pockets? i have some pocket albums that the pictures are constantly slipping out of!
ReplyDeleteI bought my 6-photo pockets at Michael's, I've seen them on Amazon too. The pictures seem to stay okay, especially if I make sure my prints are true 4x6 and not digital size. Maybe it's the way these are made? Because I do have others pocket pages that came in a different album that seem to slip out alot.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this idea!!! why have i never heard of this before!!!! it seems easy, and is SUPER SUPER cute!!!
