Preston was in charge of Family Home Evening this past week. He loves the story of Samuel the Lamanite, and the August issue of the Friend magazine had flannel board pictures for the story (found here). At the end of the lesson, Preston arranged our bar stools to make a wall and stood on them while the rest of us tried to hit him with our mini- arrows (directions to make them found here).
Friday we took the boys to the fair which was a lot of fun! Hot, but fun! Since riding horses a few weeks back, Preston has decided that he wants to be a cowboy, and when he saw cowboy hats at the fair, he just had to have one! And then of course Spencer couldn't be left out. So he decided to complete his new look!
