Baptism

Spencer was baptized by his father on Saturday (June 2).  He is now an accountable member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His baptism was wonderful, and though we wished family could have been with us, it was great to have the support of wonderful friends. Before Grandma Daniels left on her mission, she made him a "comforter", something she does for all her grandchildren to remind them of the Holy Ghost and Heaven. We also carried on the family tradition of new scriptures and case (which I happily made, copying a pattern from the case my mother had made for me : ). I am so proud of Spencer, he is such a wonderful kid. He never stops surprising me with his thoughtfulness, like doing the dishes without being asked, or making birthday cards for us all on his own. He is a hard worker and loves to help work on projects. He's a GREAT kid and we love him!
