getting ready for Halloween!

I love the holidays and I love decorating for them, the only problem is that we don't have a lot of decorations, so I am constantly trying to figure out inexpensive ways to add to our collection. I got lucky this Halloween season.... Preston recently outgrew some pants and he had an extra pair of shoes, so I fashioned together a home-made "Trick-or-Treater" using styrofoam tubing (left over from the new water heater we had to put in), a ball, a white sheet, a couple of sticks and a halloween bucket from some random Happy Meal.

Next I saw a pin on Pinterest (remember I'm addicted) where someone used paper plates to make a banner, so when I saw some cute plates at the store I knew they would make a perfect "Happy Halloween" banner. All I had to do was add the letters( which I did with the help of my computer and printer) and string them together!
