Lagoon

Finally, after a year of talking about it...Preston got to go again! And it was everything he remembered it to be!
We drove to SLC Wednesday and stayed in a hotel. Thursday we made a quick trip to Temple Square (my boys had never been there) before Lagoon opened.
On day one of Lagoon, we met up with my sister Elizabeth and her husband Bryce. Shannon was able to go on some of the more thrilling rides, and Elizabeth was able to convince Spencer to try a couple of new ones. It was fun to hang out with them and get free Ice Cream!! We called it an early night and returned to our hotel at about 8pm. We all slept in till 9:00 and prepared for day 2 at Lagoon (gotta love Bounce Back)!
On day two we met up with some friends! Their son Britton is three days older than Spencer and they have been friends since birth! Their other son Benjamin is a year younger than Preston, but almost just as tall, so they could ride a lot of the same rides together. They also brought their niece Kyla(?) who has no fear...and Spencer tried a few more rides that he had not dare attempt before.
We had a lot of fun going with friends. Shannon and Dustin left our group for a while and went to do rides on their own. Darci and I took turns with the older and younger kids.
I am so proud of the boys for trying so many new rides. It made for a more exciting time for Shannon and I, because we were able to go on more rides as well, even if I didn't think the boys should necessarily be going on them : )
The boys are already planning next years trip!
