Valentines!

Here are the Valentine's that Spencer gave to his classmates!



For the month of February we have been writing what we love about each other and putting it on the bedroom doors. Similar to a "Heart Attack", but I like having it drawn out...we get to see them longer this way!


We made sugar cookies on Sunday...I loaded half the dough with M&M's for Shannon. I have been looking for a good sugar cookie recipe, and have finally found the BEST one EVER (thanks to my friend Amber)! They are soft & sweet! I think I ate 5 of them just today. I'll share the recipe later!

So I'm trying to create some family traditions, so for Valentines this year we ordered pizza & watched a movie as a family (on Saturday of course). On Sunday the boys got a candy gram which they thought was the coolest thing ever and I gave Shannon a coupon for a weeks worth of homemade breakfast (because I never get up in the morning before he leaves).
Shannon thinks I won't actually do it when it comes down to it, but I'm really going to try.

Well, funny thing, I use my watch as an alarm, so it isn't very loud. I woke up about 10 minutes after Shannon had left for work this morning. My watch had fallen under the bed out of ear shot, and since I'm used to all the other regular sounds, I didn't wake up:(
And of course Shannon didn't wake me, because he just knew I would fail.
