Heart Wreath

I made this wreath for Valentines. So far it is my only decoration. I hope to have more someday.
To make this:
You need one wire coat hanger and scraps of material. Shape the wire coat hanger into a heart, and cut strips of material into 5 inch length strips about 3/4 inches wide. Then, double knot each strip around the wire pushing each one close together (it takes a lot). Use a long strip of fabric to make a holder and tied it to the top.

Years ago before I was married I made a circle Halloween wreath using this technique at a Relief Society activity. I have seen some cute valentine wreaths on the web, and I wanted to have one too, so I decided to make my own...and I'm glad I did, because it turned out super cute, and I didn't even spend a dime!!!
