We finally took the little boys to Lagoon for the first time (Michael has of course been before...a few times). We decided we would go ahead and do Bounce Back days to make it worth the trip, and boy am I glad we did! I think that is the most fun our little boys have had in their lives to date! Shannon and I figured the younger boys would make it till about 6pm each day, but we didn't end up leaving the park till 9:30pm both nights! I was really surprised! It just goes to show how much fun they were having. Preston asked if we could sleep there and wanted to go back a third day instead of come home. Every day since we have been back, he has ask "Can we go to Lagoon". I think we will have to make it a yearly tradition!
We stayed at Rebecca's house on Sunday night. It was fun to see her and her pregnant little self. I keep forgeting that she's having a baby next month.
Monday and Tuesday evening we stayed with Kelsey, cause Kent was out of town. She cooked us breakfast both days and called us to see about dinner, but we never got to her place till around 10pm.
Thanks Rebecca and Kelsey for letting us stay with you!
The funnest part about Lagoon was watching the expressions on the boys faces! We discovered what we always suspected...Preston is the brave brother of the two youngest. Preston was barely tall enough to go on all the kid rides and he was extremely upset he could not go on most of the big rides (especailly the Go-Karts, big Bumper Cars, and the Wild Mouse). One of his favorite kid rides was "Lady Bug Bop". It takes you up and drops you down, repeated several times. He must have gone on it 10 times! Spencer never did go on it, along with several other rides. He would watch the ride and the people on it, and if anyone was screaming or it looked a little iffy, he wouldn't go. There was no convincing him. But Preston loved all the rides...except Rattle Snake Rapids. Spencer and him both said they never wanted to go on that again. Hmm, maybe when they are older!
Anyways, we had alot of fun, and if anyone wants to go next year....we'll be there!
There are lots more pictures...so click here!
Oh....and Michael's girlfriend Nadra went with us:)
That's so much fun! Benjer is the braver of the two at our house also. Britton got really brave though and the wild mouse was his favorite ride. He even went on the Spider! He really surprised us! That would be awesome to go there together. We should do it next year. The kids would have the best time ever! Spencer would probably be braver if he had a friend with him. Britton was a lot braver with his cousins there.
