Sneaky, Sneaky!

Tuesday night I was gone to a Stake Enrichment Activity. When I got home that night, Shannon told me this story:
Shannon was getting snacks for the boys before bed, Spencer was playing on the computer and didn't want to get off, so he didn't get one. When Shannon told him it was time for bed, Spencer told him that he wanted his snack now and Shannon told him no. Spencer got very upset and told him that I would have let him have a snack before bed.
When Spencer went in the bathroom to brush his teeth, Shannon noticed he was holding something in his shirt and asked him what it was, thinking it was a snack, Spencer told him it was a car, so he didn't think anything more about it.
After Shannon had put the boys to bed, my phone rang. Shannon went to answer it and noticed that it was his phone calling. Since I left mine home to charge, he figured I had taken his with me. When he answered it however, there was no one there. After a few seconds, he realized what Spencer had been hiding in his shirt. He walked into the boys room to retrieve his phone.

Spencer: "I wanted to talk to Mom."
Shannon: "You were going to tell on me weren't you?"
Spencer: "Whatever, Mom would let me have a snack."
