Happy Easter!

We had a nice Easter Day. The boys got stuffed dinosaurs (their favorites: Prestons' is the T-Rex and Spencers' is the Pterodactyl) and their own copies of "The Book of Mormon". They were very excited about their gifts. After church we had a little egg hunt in the back yard. 12 of the eggs were numbered (1-12). Inside each was a small item and a scripture to go with it. Each one told a small part of the death and resurrection of the Savior. I thought it was a nice way to emphasis the meaning of Easter.
And I read about a great idea sometime ago, but only remember a few days ago, about a "Good Deeds Jar". During the month of April, for every good deed a member of the family does, you get to put a bean in a jar. When the Easter Bunny comes, it replaces the beans with jelly beans. Kind of a cute idea. I just wished I had remembered it at the first of the month instead of Tuesday of last week. We only ended up with about 5 beans.
