We didn't spend a lot of money on Christmas presents this year because we had decided that we would put most of the money towards ski lessons for the boys. We took them up for their first lesson on Saturday. As we neared the top of the mountain, we got up out of the fog/inversion and discovered that there were still clouds above us, it was pretty cool. When we finally reached the top, it was sunny and warm!
The boys had lessons for just over an hour, and Shannon and I watched them for the last 15 minutes. They rode a track up called the Carpet, and it was fun to see them skiing down on their own. Their instructor said they did great and could now go on the bunny hill with an adult. Before we left the boys wanted to do one more run. They had a great time and I'm so proud of them.
