Christmas 2012

Christmas was fun and uneventful this year. We celebrated with old and new traditions:

• Christmas Eve dinner (that way we have leftovers and I don't have to cook on Christmas)
• Opening one gift on Christmas Eve (pajamas of course)
• Watching the Christmas Nativity video
• This year the boys tried sleeping in a bunkbed fort, but Spencer didn't cooperate, so he had to sleep up in his bed.     

 

Christmas day came bright and early, 4:20am. I made the boys go back to bed. That lasted until 5:30am. I finally got up around 6:30am. Preston asked Santa for a robot and a real puppy. He got remote control Hex bugs. Spencer asked Santa for the Air Hogs Hover Assault and a real puppy. He got the AH Hover Assault. 

To our surprise, Michael came at 7:00am and stayed for several hours. We spent the rest of the day playing with our new toys, gadgets, and video games.
