Spring Break

We had a pretty relaxing spring break around here. The weather was mostly cloudy and rainy, so we didn't get to spend too much time outside. Monday we went to Monkey Bizness (an indoor play place) with friends. Tuesday we squeezed in a short bike ride to the park. Wednesday we went to the free Veggie Tales movie at the Theater. Shannon had Thursday off so the boys had fun playing video games when they weren't being dragged around to stores. Friday we went to the Library where Spencer checked out "Diary of a Whimpy Kid" and "Big Nate"...we have finally found books that he will sit and read without setting the timer! Saturday was finally sunny so we took advantage and drove down to Camelsback Park which has some trails (we have lived here 11 years and this was our first time going there). I would have enjoyed it more if it was more mountainy, but you get what you get!

Preston slid down on his bum part of the way, but then he was brave and stood up. The picture doesn't do the steepness of the hill justice. Spencer took another path.

Once at the bottom the boys had fun walking up a short way and running back down.

Spencer only wiped out once. Today he is extremely sore and walking funny!
