I had the opportunity to go to Utah this past weekend for my youngest sister Emily's baby shower and my parents mission farewell. Shannon had a weekend class at BSU so he couldn't go with us. Spencer and Preston were such troopers even when the movie player wouldn't work. The shower for Emily was at my sister Lorinda's home, and she did a great job of putting it all together. Emily got some fun things and is so excited for her first baby boy to arrive in June! The boys and I had originally planned to stay with Lorinda and her family, but a couple of her kids weren't feeling well so we thought we'd stay with my parents, but then we found out that my brother and his kids were staying there and his two kiddos were even sicker. So Emily graciously offer for us to stay with her. My boys loved it! They said it was the best part of the whole weekend!
On Sunday, my parents gave wonderful talks in church. I never realized what a great speaker my mother is and I really enjoyed listening to her. My parents are amazing people and wonderful examples. I am so glad I made the trip!
