You can tell by the color of his jeans how soaked he got. I would have loved a picture of him all wet and dripping, but I didn't want to torcher him or take the time.

a boy, a scooter and a puddle
The boys and I headed off to school today, just like any other day. Them on their scooters and I on me feet! It was raining and had been since the night before...puddles were everywhere. The boys love riding their scooters through the puddles. The bigger the better, it creates more of a challenge to see if they can make it clear to the other side without getting their feet wet. Well this particular morning one of the normally large puddles had grown drastically and I turned around just in time to see Spencer riding through it. Unfortunately, his front wheel struck a pebble and he went flying! And I mean flying! What a sight to see. He landed in about 4 inches or more of water and was so stunned that all he could do was sit up. I told him to get up quick and run out. Needless to say he was dripping wet and soaked clean through: jacket, gloves, pants, shoes, socks. Luckily we were only about a minute from home, so we walked back and he changed quickly. I then drove him to school so he wouldn't be tardy. And just in case you are wondering, he didn't get hurt, he just complained on the way back to the house that he was cold!
