SNOW DAY, YAY!

Today we had our first Snow Day in about 6 years. I think in the past 10 years we have lived here, Michael only got 1 or 2 snow days.
It's about the most snow we've ever had. It was probably a total of 6 inches (some of you are probably laughing:)
I started my day shoveling (it took a couple of hours). Spencer helped shovel for a while, but then decided to try and dig a tunnel, which he did, and it held up for about 10 minutes while they crawled from one side to the other. Then the boys and I headed down the street to where there is a little grassy hole/bowl. It made a perfect sledding hill and I wasn't surprised so many neighborhood kids were there at 9:00am! We stayed for a couple of hours, and our neighbor even got out his motorcycle and pulled some of the kids behind him on a sled.
We had a great day!
Of course, when we got back home I had to shovel the driveway again, but it was much easier the second time.

  1. Wasn't it great to have a snow day? Although my arms may take weeks to recover from all the shoveling!
