Happy Birthday!

Michael is officially an adult! He turned "18' on the 14th. Unfortunately we were unable to celebrate with him because we all had the flu (except Michael of course). I was able to make him this delicious ice-cream cake that he wanted (found at Kraftfoods.com). It's hard to believe that he's almost through with High School and soon he will be leaving us (but hopefully he'll return).
I met Michael just before he turned 8 (over 10 years ago) and I can't believe how the time has flown. When I think that Spencer will be 8 in 2 years, it makes me realize how little time I have left. I've been very blessed to have Michael in my life. He has been a great kid, and even though right now his religious beliefs differ from ours, he is still very respectful and responsible. He has always been such an easy going kid. He has always made good choices in friends, and has not caused us too much heartache or grief. We are very fortunate and I'm proud to be his mom!
