Spencer had his first basketball game, and his team had never had a practice. We signed him up through the YMCA and they had trouble finding a coach. Once they found one they forgot to call everyone and let them know, so the coach finally called us Friday night to tell us about our game on Saturday. Spencer doesn't have any prior experience, so he was unsure of what to do, as were most of the other kids. Only a couple of them knew what they were doing. It was a lot of fun to watch! Check out the video...Spencer is the one side shuffling down the court! He tried his best to dribble the ball instead of just picking it up and running like the other kids, and he was great at passing it to his team mates!!

The boys had been waiting for Halloween all week! We went Trick-or-Treating with some friends in our old neighborhood. They had a blast and got lots of candy!!

Great story...our YMCA basketball experience in Texas was about the same. We pulled Kaleb after a week or two...they had games starting at 8:00 on school nights.
